Here, at Labastide-Saint-Pierre, the reds, the rosés, the whites have one ambition: that the first glass makes you want the second. Drinkability, as they say these days — we prefer to talk about digestibility. That wine flows from the source, like the waters of the Tarn, whether they become small or grand crus.
The range of wines from the Arbeau family is like the varied soils and grape varieties found in the South-West of France: eclectic. From Fronton’s emblematic Négrette, symbol of Toulouse reds, to Bordeaux Cabernets and Merlots, Rhone Syrah, Malbec, Gaillac Braucol or Beaujolais Gamay, the choice is vast. There is a wine for everyone.
Classic blends include Château Coutinel’s Frontons and Villerose, the Gaillacs Villerouge where the main aim is to promote the appellations of South-West France. Varietal wines, Négrette, Braucol, Gamay or Côt, in IGP or AOP, seek to highlight the fruit that the terroir offers us. More popular vintages, such as Bacchus in IGP Comté Tolosan, Diane, VDF, and even a wide range of boxed wines, make our production even more accessible.
THE MIRACLE
We were very afraid that this red would never see the light of day, Nature had decided to make us miserable. And, against all expectations, this generous, voluble, charming juice was born. 50% braucol, 40% côt, 10% cabernet.
SPIRIT OF FRONTON
A way to celebrate the négrette grape, without fuss, without artifice. Fleshy, floral, fruity, underlined by a hint of liquorice. This wine is a one-way ticket to Toulouse!
A 2.0 ROSÉ
Emojis now express the emotions of our lives, this fresh, versatile rosé accompanies them cheerfully. 60% négrette 40% syrah.
DELICIOUS CLASSIC
This is the flagship of the estate. Peony, blackcurrant, morello cherry on the menu, a frank and delicate red, composed of 70% négrette and 30% cabernet. 70% négrette, 30% syrah for the rosé; 50% négrette, 25% cabernet, 25% syrah for the oak barreled cuvée.
ANOTHER LOOK AT GAMAY
Yes, north of Toulouse as well as north of Lyon, we produce gamay. A fleshy, lively gamay, without that banana side that bothers many. A real thirst-quenching wine, frank and straightforward.
ORGANIC & CHIC
Ripe, juicy and fleshy, the red is made from Négrette, here assembled with 30% Syrah. The white is 100% Sauvignon with aromas of exotic fruits and boxwood, while the rosé contains 100% Grenache with a citrus tendency.
FLORAL, OBVIOUSLY
70% négrette, 30% cabernet for a charming red with a bouquet of old roses, peonies and Toulouse violets.
VIOGNIER TOULOUSAIN
Both creamy and fresh, here is Fronton terroir interpretation of this Rhone grape variety. Amazing!
ORGANIC & ACCESSIBLE
Gourmet good value juice. Red 50% grenache 50% syrah. Rosé 50% grenache 50% syrah. White 100% viognier.
KOSHER NÉGRETTE
A pure Coutinel négrette, fleshy, vinified in accordance with the precepts of the Jewish religion, under the supervision of a rabbi.
